Brewer Direct Celebrates Milestone Anniversary

Monrovia, CA - May 7, 2009   Brewer Direct, Inc. is celebrating a milestone on May 7, 2009.  The agency, founded by long-time non-profit marketer Randy Brewer, is five years old and growing stronger by the year.

After nearly two decades of creating successful programs for nationally recognized agencies and charities, in the spring of 2004 Brewer hung out his own shingle and went to work.  "There were only two of us, me and my long-time associate Rod Romero, but we had one client and a dream."  That first client, the Long Beach Rescue Mission, is still working with the agency today, along with 14 other inner city Rescue Missions, the Boys & Girls Club LA Alliance serving 27 separate Clubs, HOPE worldwide and MEND Poverty.

"It was kind of like the movie Jerry McGuire." Brewer says of his start.  "We had an office and desks but no computers. Our first meeting in the conference room was a stand-up meeting because we had no chairs."  The agency's strong, client-first reputation quickly spread and it wasn't long until more than just a few chairs were needed to accommodate a growing staff which offers clients full-service fundraising and marketing capabilities.

"Even with this exciting growth, our priorities remain the same," says Brewer.  "BDI is a full-service agency offering high-level, personal customer service and strategic marketing campaigns.  Rather than "pushing" services to our client, we work in partnership with them to not only produce exceptional fundraising results, but impact other aspects of their work as well."

While many non-profits have been experiencing a downturn in donations during 2008/2009, Brewer Direct clients have had their best year ever!  In addition to exceptional results, clients can also further their work and enhance their fundraising using the agency's newest service, Great Ideas.    At www.brewerdirect.com/greatideas clients can post and exchange ideas which have included unique special events, the power of e-mail fundraising, and a highly innovative program initiated by one Mission that puts former homeless men on the streets cleaning up high-litter and nuisance dump site areas.

"Celebrating five years working with organizations that do such great work is truly a blessing," said Brewer.  "But we are even more excited about what the next five years will bring!"
