Stories that would make your hair stand on end
In the 15+ years she's worked with Rescue Mission all over America, Cindy Courtier says she's "heard it all". "A big part of my job is making sure we're using information that is specific to each client. That means visiting them to learn about their programs and interviewing the people who are in those programs."
BDI Creative Director Cindy Courtier interviews a new client at Hiway 80 Rescue Mission's Hope Haven home for women and children.
"I've talked with everyone from homeless kids, crack addicts, and abused women to guys who've committed murder, so there's isn't much that surprises me any more. But the very best part of my job is learning how these lives have been restored through the programs and services our Clients offer!"
Cindy's expertise in advertising and direct marketing comes from nearly 40 years of experience working as an agency Creative Director for such diverse clients as the Australian Tourist Commission, The Salvation Army, InTouch Ministries, the US Olympic Committee, 2nd Harvest Food Banks, Sheraton Hotels and World Vision.
In her spare time, Cindy hunts down "dead people" to feed her genealogy habit, volunteers with a couple of start-up non-profit organizations in her hometown of Altadena, CA and texts her youngest daughter who is a new college freshman.
