Great Ideas - Double-Duty Christmas Card

An honorarium program with a Christmas spin has resulted in $10,000 in additional income for the Memphis Union Mission and some very positive feedback from donors. For a suggested gift of $10 per person, the Mission will send a hand-addressed, specially designed card to each individual on a donor's list. According to Development Director Steve Carpenter, "It's a win-win program that brings additional gifts to the Mission and allows donors to honor someone special."

With the addition of Morristown, NJ's Market Street Mission to the BDI family, we can now truly say we're covering the nation "from coast to coast". Recognized as one of the nation's oldest rescue Missions operating continuously from the same site (111 years!), Morristown has continued to reinvent itself to serve the changing needs of its community.

The Mission selected Brewer Direct to help grow revenues through a fully-integrated development strategy which will include increased online marketing and locally-implemented major donor tactics. We're pleased to be partnering with long-time director Dave Scott and the entire team at Market Street!
