Newsletters That Do More

The Allentown Rescue Mission has been producing a successful regular donor newsletter called "Tidings". But at the bequest of Brewer Direct, they allowed the agency to take over their final three issues in the fall of 2006.

At first the challenge of submitting articles and approving art several weeks in advance was not well received. There were question about our choices for pictures and length of copy. But the Mission wisely decided to let Brewer Direct follow its recommendations.

The results were staggering, really! In 2005 Allentown Rescue Mission produced and mailed four issues of tidings which produces a respectable $99,050.But in 2006 in the same time period, just three issues produced $206,181, more than doable the previous years with less cost, including agency fees.
